Location: Ormond Beach "loop" Halifax River
This location is right off the Ormond Beach loop. The sunset was particularly colorful this day and I snapped a quick picture of it. I noticed that the water on this part of the river was very shallow therefore no boats are around this area. There were multiple fishermen around, but the water was very calm and blue. An environmental concern I have about the area was that there was a concerning amount of trash on the banks of the river. Multiple cars and motorcyclists drive through the loop to view the beautiful scenery, and I’m sure some individuals litter their trash while driving through. Nature should be respected, and if we’re blessed enough to experience it, we should take care of it.
