My environmental concern is that we are running out time to reduce our carbon footprint. If we do not change the way, we treat the environment we will cause irreversible damage. I tried to represent this in my art by placing a ticking clock over the image of nature. I was inspired by the local springs and state parks in the DeLand area. If we don’t begin to treat the environment more carefully, we will also cause harm to animals. An example are sand hill cranes which I drew in my picture. It is so important to preserve our habits for ourselves and the animals that live in it.
